Rhodendrons it’s a ideal location that ensures absolute peace of mind. The
green meadows, towering trees, breathtaking view of the snow-capped Himalayan
peaks, make Dhanaulti an enviable hideaway.
It is surrounded by Tehri Garhwal, Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, Pithoragarh,
Almora and Pauri Garhwal districts and with Tibet lying to its north. There is
hundreds of shrines particularly dedicated to Lord Shiva spread over the hills
of Chamoli. Chamoli has immense geographical, historical, religious and

to revive the unconscious Laxman. This land has inspired the imagination of
great poets like Kalidas. The well known Valley of Flowers and Auli Bugyal are
a delight for tourists and adventure enthusiasts.
